How a 6-person agency runs its whole operation in one workspace

Meet Northwind Studio — the six-person demo agency that ships inside Teamdott's live preview. It is fictional, but its week is any small agency's week: four clients, overlapping deadlines, one person doing HR between design reviews.

Morning: the inbox decides

Olivia (owner) opens the workspace. Lumen Coffee's thread shows Reply in 2h 47m; Orbit Fitness is overdue — that is the first reply of the day, chosen by the timer, not by mood. Two sign-offs are pending; one has been sitting with the client for a day, so a nudge goes out from the thread.

Midday: the quiet HR layer

Everyone clocked in from their own login. The Today screen shows four working, Sam on a break, Jack on approved moving-day leave. Lena's 9:46 arrival wears a small late pill — the rule flagged it, so no human had to. Nobody filled in a timesheet; the grid filled itself.

Month-end: an afternoon, not a week

Payroll already knows everyone's present days, overtime and leave. Grace (HR) scans the table, fixes one forgotten clock-out, runs the month, and six branded payslips appear in six portals. The CSV goes to the accountant. Done before the coffee cools.

The real saving is switching, not subscriptions (though those add up too): nobody re-types attendance into payroll, nobody reconciles Slack decisions against email approvals, nobody maintains the spreadsheet of spreadsheets.
